My name is Mauro Giannattasio and I created Maw's Habitat to first meet my own needs. Having had various types of pets over the years—hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, and more—I often faced issues with pet accessories. Cages and standardized products rarely fit the available space, materials were often low quality and lacked durability, and many accessories and toys were not always suitable or safe for pets.

So, I started making small accessories for myself: houses, cage shelves, and various toys. Then, I began modifying commercial cages. Still not fully satisfied, I dedicated myself to designing and creating custom cages—or rather, habitats , as I prefer to call them.

Over time, I shared my ideas and received positive feedback from others with the same needs. Together, we kept improving accessories and habitats, always searching for the best solutions for different types of pets.

I never stopped. Even today, I continue learning, refining, and updating the products I created years ago.
